La Vela Hue Hotel

We had an really good experience at la vela. from the moment we arrived, the staff, including john, pie, and linh, made us feel very welcomed. they went out of their way to help with our needs, and the breakfast was impressive. we appreciated how attentive the team was, especially when we had specific requests. the hotel is in a great location between the city and the airport, making it very convenient for traveling.

Quiet atmosphere, complimentary and very very good breakfast with many options. Well-appointed and brand-new room with a bathtub and a really good bed, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety...

Competent and genuinely helpful staff, great location happy to help with calling a cab. Next to the center for the food, the restaurant twice-for dinner and lunch and city centre.

Just had an amazing weekend at this hotel! The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The breakfast spread was delicious with tons of options, and the pool on the rooftop was perfect for a refreshing dip. Plus, the rooms were spacious, clean, and had a fantastic view. The free shuttle made getting to the city center a breeze!

the rooftop pool closes pretty early, which was a bummer since we wanted to catch the sunset. But overall, it was a lovely stay!

I just had the best city break! The hotel is modern and stylish with a fine rooftop pool where you can soak up amazing views. Plus, the location is just a short Grab ride away from all the sights you want to explore!

There were a few hiccups since the place is still in soft-opening mode. Some furniture had scratches and the air conditioning could be a bit tricky. the breakfast buffet was occasionally limited. But overall, these minor issues didn’t ruin the fantastic experience we had!

The modern touch in the rooms was excellent, particularly with the smart temperature and light controls. The hotel's location, while a bit far from downtown, was not an issue for me as the free shuttle service came in handy. I would have loved a more lively pool area though.

During my stay, I enjoyed the amazing views from the rooftop pool, providing a perfect spot to unwind after exploring the nearby Imperial City and other attractions. The staff, especially Mr Quong from the restaurant, went above and beyond to meet our dining requests, which really enhanced the overall experience. I was particularly impressed by the spaciousness and quality of my room.

The addition of a luxurious bathtub allowed me to unwind after long days, enhancing my overall experience. the database provided comprehensive information on local attractions, making it easy for me to plan my excursions.

One minor drawback was the lack of a coffee maker in the room, which would have added convenience for early mornings. this was a small inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

My experience was marred by a staff member's rude behavior regarding breakfast rules. Despite having inquired about bringing family for breakfast just the day before, I was embarrassed in front of other guests. It felt highly judgmental and was not the level of service I expected from a hotel of this stature.
